Tehsildar RS Pura, Subhu Shad along with Patwari Daleep Kumar, Sarpanch Gurdeep Singh Saini and Panchs of local Panchayat Gandli distributed EWS, IB and Domicile Certificates among the people of Panchayat Gandli at their doorsteps.
Tehsildar Subhu Shad, while addressing the locals on the occasion, said that the government is committed to provide maximum services as far as possible at the doorsteps of the people and the administration is working in a missionary mode to ensure that Govt’s plans are implemented on ground in letter and spirit.
Later, the Tehsildar visited Govt Primary School Gandli and took stock of the functioning of the school. He also interacted with students and staff of the school and expressed satisfaction over the proper functioning of the school. He also took serious note of non-seriousness shown by Ramesh Kumar (Teacher) by not joining his service as a third-teacher in this school. He asked Ramesh Kumar to join his service immediately failing which strict action will be taken against him. Besides, he lauded Master Ajay Kumar for dedicating himself for the noble cause and render selfless service for the welfare of school students.
In his address, Sarpanch Gurdeep Singh Saini thanked the government for providing 10 per cent reservation benefit EWS to general public. He also thanked the district administration for providing door to door services to the people living within the jurisdiction of Gandli Panchayat. He asserted that good governance is a two way process in which the Administration is expected to perform with optimum excellence but at the same time the people too must respond equally to the Govt’s initiatives.
The Sarpanch said that his aim is to develop Gandli Panchayat as a model Panchayat where people get all the basic facilities and services at the doorsteps. Asserting that all the promises made to the people of Panchayat during the elections are being fulfilled, he said that the Modi led Govt at the Center is taking keen interest in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory which is proved by its continuously providing funds for the development of the Panchayats. This has resulted in development works being carried out in the Panchayats at an unprecedented pace. He assured the people of the Panchayat that in the coming days, more services will be provided to the people at their doorsteps.
He appealed to the people to enthusiastically come forward in order to avail the benefit of door to door services provided by the government.
