INSTITUTE OF DENTAL SCIENCES,SEHORA JAMMU OBSERVE WORLD AIDS DAY

Institute of Dental Sciences,Sehora today conducted a series of events while observing World Aids Day having theme ‘End Inequalities;End AIDS;End Pandemic’ for the year 2021.
Programme was organised by the Department of Public Health Dentistry(PHD) headed by Dr.Esha Bali,HOD,Public Health Dentistry under the aegis of Institute of Dental Sciences which was presided by Dr.Sarabjeet Singh,Principal IDS accompanied by Dr.Harvinder Singh,Director IDS,Dr.Bhavneet Kaur,Administrator and coordinator IDS.Staff,Interns and students of the college also participated in the programme.
At the outset,the faculty and all the participants lit the candles to pay reminiscence to the people who lost their lives or have been affected with AIDS over last 40 years.Thereafter,two minutes slience was observed for them as a mark of respect.In the end,a short and informative video was showcased portraying different aspects of the disease,its spread,Dos and Donts and likewise.A pledge was taken to work collectively in order to eradicate this disease from society.
