Covid-19 crisis receding day by day: DC Kupwara
KUPWARA, MAY 31: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Din today said that the Covid-19 crisis are receding day by day in the district drastically with massive recovery of positive cases.
The Deputy Commissioner was addressing media persons here at Kupwara to provide status about the Covid containment measures and management.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the district has recorded 12040 Covid positive cases and a good recovery rate of 83.32% has been registered. He said 1866 Covid positive cases are active in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the sampling is being geared up again to identify the trend of cases and Covid Care Centres have been established across the district to isolate the positive cases at panchayat level also.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed the people to strictly follow Covid appropriate behaviour to break the Covid chain.
