Municipal Committee, Bari Brahmana launched plantation drive under the programme “AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTASAV”.

In compliance to the directions issued by the Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jammu Sh. Asgar Hussain regarding celebration of “AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTASAV” in all Urban Local Body Institutions of Jammu province. The Municipal Committee, Bari Brahmana today on 04.05.2021 launched a plantation drive in the public Park situated at Ward No. 03 Bari Brahmana as per the scheduled programme “AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTASAV” on the eve of completion of 75th years of Independence of India.
The dignitary Ms. Diksha Bamba (KAS) Tehsildar, Bari Brahmana alongwith Sh.Jodh Raj, Executive Officer, Municipal Committee, Bari Brahmana grace the occasion in presence of Sh. Ramji Dass Sharma, Ex- Hon’ble Vice-President, Sh. Pawan Kumar, Hon’ble Ward Member, Sh. Nahar Ranjan (JKPS), SDPO, Bari Brahmana, Sh. Rajesh Sharma, SHO, Police Station, Bari Brahmana, Sh. Arjun Singh Naib Tehsildar, Bari Brahmana, Sh. Ravinder Gupta, Assistant Sanitation Officer, Sh Kamal Kishore, Secretary, besides in presence of other officials of Municipal Committee, Bari Brahmana.
The Executive Officer Sh. Jodh Raj during the programme addressed to the participants that the similar plantation drive shall be launched in all the remaining three public Parks located in the Town and the Municipal Committee, Bari Brahamna has fixed the target of plantation of around 3000 plants and also appealed to the citizens of town as well as to the general public for plantation of more and more plants in and around their locality to help the Municipal Committee to keep the Town’s atmosphere better and purified environmentally.
The Executive Officer, Municipal Committee, Bari Brahmana at the end again requested to the participants and general public that everyone should understand the social responsibility and contribute their best efforts for making town neat and clean for making Bari Brahmana as a Model Town.
