Lord Parashuram ji was actually an idol of renunciation of knowledge and dispassion. Lord Parashuram ji is considered to be the sixth incarnation of Vishnu. Parshuram ji is considered a symbol of greatness and valor. Parshuram Jayanti is celebrated on Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Vaishakh month. Lord Parashuram was born in Treta Yuga to Sage Jamadagni and Mother Renuka.
