Do Justice with all Contractual Employees of J & K : Dr Shazad

Jammu, 28/May/2022: Jammu and Kashmir Border Area Development Conference, (JK-BADC) a registered organization working for the welfare of residents of border areas and other vulnerable sections of the society today urged the Union & Jammu and Kashmir government to do justice with all contractual employees who are legally engaged by the government .

The organization demanded immediate regularization of all contractual employees including those engaged under Rehbar-e-Khel, Rehbar-e-Janglat, Rehbar-e-Zirat and NYC schemes.

Dr Shazad Ahmed Malik, the former Vice Chancellor and Chairman of JK-BADC condemned the autocratic attitude of the decision making bureaucrats of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory who are hell bent to play with the future of the educated youth of J & K and create unnecessary controversies compelling and provoking the educated youth to go in agitational mode.

BADC Chairman said instead of brining a clear policy for time bound regularization of contractual employees including Rehbar-e-Khel, Rehbar-e-Janglat, Rehbar-e-Zirat, National Youth Corps employees, an unnecessary controversy is created over the future of these educated youth who are serving the government and somehow feeding their families with meager wages.

He urged the J & K government to do justice with all these contractual employees and immediately regularize them.

“Government is like guardian of the citizens and it is imperative it behave likewise and understands the sufferings of our educated youth and their families” he further stated.
