Poonch :- May 16 :-
2 days District Poonch Pencak Silat Championship 2022-23 is INAUGURATED by Assistant Regional Transport Officer Poonch Basharat Mehmood (JKAS) the banner of J&K Sports Council at Indoor Stadium Poonch today. 200 boys and girls from different age categories took participating in the championship.
While interacting with PENCAK SILAT players, participating from different wards of Poonch, dignitarie hoped that these players will prove their mettle in the forthcoming National and international level championships, they are pursuing as each has the capacity to reach the podium of the medal tally.
General Secretary District Poonch Pencak Silat Association, remarked that some encouragement for student as well as other youth involved in game and sports will fetch many results in the days to come. He appreciated the effort of Secretary Sports council, Ms Nuzhat Gul and her team in organizing such type of Competitions at the district level and this is the best way to findout the hidden talent and took them forward for the National and international events
