JKCA conducted talent hunt trials for the different age groups in Poonch -Rajouri recently.
During these trials players from different areas and different age categories participated to grab the opportunity.
Female Players of Rahul Dravid Cricket Academy Poonch participated also and 5 among them were selected to play trial matches at Jammu.
Asma Kouser (U16) Farheen Anjum,Mehnaz Akhter,Gurkirat Kour and Vishakha Kesar are the girls who are going to represent their Distt.on UT level trials
It’s a proud moment for Poonch District and especially for the coaches , management and founder of the academy Pervaiz Malik Afridi whose efforts are proving fruitful day by day in the field of cricket where youth is helped in every possible way to groom .
It’s also a historic selection where ist time from Distt . Poonch girls are also being selected and seen improving in the field of cricket .
It’s pertinent to mention here that the series of cricket tournament in twin division of the Jammu and Kashmir ll begin with under-19 Women’s cup on Monday 15,2022 and the inaugural ceremony of the same ll be held in the evening on May 14 at GGM science college hostel ground jammu.
Pervaiz Malik Afridi requests people of Poonch currently residing in jammu that don’t forget to appreciate and encourage the talented girls during their trails and other matches, reach their to support them so that they could perform better .
