38th Nehru sub junior hockey tournament is going on at Shivaji stadium New Delhi. A team of eighteen young players led by Coach Rajat Sharma and Rajesh Sharma participating in the tournament at National level. Team played well with professional players of Ritu Rani Hockey Academy Patiala. Although they lost the match but the best upcoming player award was won by Gitesh Thakur S/o Lukhinder Singh R/o ward no 4 Hiranagar. President of Shakti Punj NGO Hiranagar Kuljeet Singh appealed to the Hon’ble Union Minister Dr Jatindra Singh kindly make it convenient to provide coach and astro turf at Hiranagar, the land for which has been proposed opposite Municipal committee Hiranagar as there is lot of potential among young players.
