Floral tributes were paid on Friday to the martyrs

Floral tributes were paid on Friday to the martyrs who laid down their lives while fighting terrorists who attacked Mumbai on November 26, 2008. The programme was organized by GZSMECT at GCW Parade college Jammu.

On November 26, 2008, 10 Pakistani terrorists arrived by sea route and opened fire indiscriminately at people killing 166, including 18 security personnel, and injuring several others, besides damaging property worth crores.
Diksha Kaluria and Riya Kaluria (6th Generation of General Zorawar Singh along with entire team of “GZSMECT” and NSS students of GCW Parade College Jammu observed a minute silence in remembrance of the victims and after that screened a short movie on the Mumbai Attack.

“It is an extremely sad day today, as 13 years ago on this day in 2008 the most dastardly terrorist attack happened in our country. The sacrifice of all the security forces personnel and others who lost their lives in the attack will never be forgotten said Diksha.

On this ocassion Chief Guest Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Guest of honour Aman Singh (Gen Sec Kala Kendra), Guest of Honour prof Neena kumari, DK baloria, Vikram Chib, Vishu rajput, Manish Jamwal, Prof Gurpreet kour, Prof Jyoti Bala, Shamsher Prajapati, prof Parminder kaur, prof Neena kunari, Disha Bassin, Vishu Rajput,Dsp gulvadhan singh bhau and NSS students of GCW are present there.
