Ruhee Name Shahzad condemns civilian killing at Bohri Kadal.
‘Violence can never usher in an era of peace’
She expresses solidarity with the bereaved family
Srinagar, November 09: Senior Leader Ruheena Shahzad on Tuesday expressed deep shock and grief over the killing of a civilian, Mohammad Ibrahim, at Bohri Kadal who worked as a salesman.
While terming the incident as extremely heart-rending, Ruheena said that there appears to be no respite for the people from the vicious bloodshed in the valley.
“Regrebly another day has to end with a mournful incident. A salesman who would have been working hard to earn bread and butter for his family has been mercilessly killed by unknown gunmen. No words of solace can ever suffice to alleviate the grief of his family. The valley appears to be engulfed in a blight of violence which must come to end once for all. The plots of forces inimical to peace can never succeed to instill fear and chaos among the people. The law should take its course and nab these perpetrators,” She said.
Ruheena also expressed his profound solidarity with the bereaved family members and demanded a stern action against such elements at an earliest.
“I pray for eternal peace to the departed soul and endurance to the family in this time of utter gloom. May Almighty give them the strength to bear this huge loss. I also appeal to the administration to provide adequate ex-gratia to the family members of the deceased,” she said.
