AAP leaders pays tribute on birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri
Tributes were paid to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri on their birth anniversary at Sainik Colony by leaders of Aam Aadmi Party. On this occasion, President of Jammu Poonch Lok Sabha constituency Amit Kapoor and his colleagues offered floral garlands on the pictures of Mahatma Gandhi and Shastri. Addressing the gathering, Amit Kapoor said that Mahatma Gandhi’s contribution to the country’s independence has been the most. He forced the British to flee India by following the path of non-violence. At that time it was not an easy task to lead such a big country, but Bapu initiated many movements following the path of non-violence. Today’s governments are trying to erase their contribution but this cannot be possible at all. Every child of the country is well aware of the contribution of Mahatma Gandhi. Amit Kapoor said that if we are able to breathe in a free environment, then the credit goes to Mahatma Gandhi, Lal Bahadur Shastri and other freedom fighters. Paramveer Singh, Amit Langar, Aslam Kohli, Ajay Dogra, Harnek Singh and Usman Kohli were present on this occasion.
