Sanitation & Plantation drive launched by Deputy Commissioner Samba in Municipal Committee Bari Brahamna.

The Deputy Commissioner, Samba Ms. Anuradha Gupta, KAS today on 02/08/2021 visited in Municipal Committee, Bari Brahamana and started the special sanitation and plantation drive in Bari Brahamana town to celebrate the forthcoming 75th Independence Day in compliance to the instructions issued by Government. The drive was initiated in presence of Sh Puran Chand (President), Sh. Tarsem Lal (Vice President), other Ward Members, Sh Jodh Raj (Executive Officer), Sh Ravinder Kumar Gupta (Assistant Sanitation Officer) Municipal Committee, Bari Brahmana, prominent citizens, besides other concerned essential staff of MC Bari Brahmana especially Safai-karamcharies. The main aim behind this special sanitation drive is to clean all areas of the town one-by-one and to provides better civic amenities to the inhabitants of the town and to prevent the causes of disease during this covid-19 pandemic. The special sanitation drive will be a continue process of sanitation in all 13 Wards upto 15th of August 2021. The Deputy Commissioner, Samba urged the elected Ward Members and inhabitants of the town to participate and cooperate with the special sanitation team of MC Bari Brahaman for cleanliness of the uncovered areas and educate the general public about making “Clean Bari Brahmana – Green Bari Brahamana”.
The special activities taken up by the sanitation team are sweeping / cleaning of Streets/ Roads, de-silting of drains, bushes / grass cutting, Fogging, dusting of Lime over the drains etc. The President as well as Executive Officer, Municipal Committee, Bari Brahamna has also given assurance to the prominent citizens of the town that this is a regular exercise upto 15th of August 2021 and daily a new area shall be selected for same activities for successful completion of drive.
