Khajuria for taking benifit for govt schemes

Jammu, Mar 7: In a welcoming gesture, the people of Rehal Bishnah constituted a voluntary group of prominent citizens and intellectuals of village
to pursue the developmental activities with various government departments and also to take follow-ups of ongoing works.

As per press statement, a meeting of prominent persons of Rehal Bishnah was held at Baba Durga Dass Sthan Rehal. The meeting was presided by Mahant Narayn Dass Ji Maharaj which unanimously decided to constitute Village Development Committee to pursue the developmental activities with various government departments and also to take follow-ups of ongoing works.

Roemsh Khajuria, Member National Working Committee, Gau Parkoushat MRM and President Khajuria Bradhari, Rehal was nominated as member of the VDC alongwith retired TSO Sat Pal, Ashok Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Ganga Ram, Ashok Gupta, Dhuni Chand Panch, Bishamber Das ,Tirth Ram, Diwan Chand, Kuldeep Khajuria, Babu Ramand others.

In the inaugural meeting of VDC the committee in one vioce thanked Member Parliament Jammu- Poonch Constituency Jugal Kishore Sharma for initiating development works in Bishnah.

Speaking on the occassion Romesh Khajuria on behalf of VDC, Rehal thanked Jugal Kishore Sharma for focusing development in Bishnah particularly sanctioning 25 Lakh for upgrading the sports stadium, upgradation of cremation ground, construction of waiting shead, Bathroom for women and assuring overall development of village as he had adopted Rehal Dhamalian under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana for its overall development.

Khajuria, who his self was a ace sportsperson and represented State in inter University level competition said that sports is best way to develop personality of a huma being. He siad a sportsmen remained discipline and develop leadership qualities. Sporst also help to fight drug abuse problem.

Romesh Khajuria, who is also Vice Chairman Wool & Woolen Export Promotion Council (WWEPC), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India said that government of India under dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah focusing development in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that newly constituted VDC will become a bridge between society and adminstration so that the fruit of development reach to ground level.
