Assessment camp for physically challenged persons has been organized by social welfare department Hiranagar at Community Hall, Hiranagar.
The said camp was managed by Tehsil Social Welfare Officer Sh Rajesh Kumar along with employees of social welfare Department.
During the camp, Divyangjans (PwD) assessed for free distribution of Aids and Appliances under Assistance to Disablee Persons (ADIP) Scheme of Govt of India.The assessment of the disabled persons has been done by the medical experts of Artificial Limb Manufacturing Corporation (ALIMCO), Govt of India.
Specially abled persons registered their names to get the benefit through this camp. Artificial Limbs, wheel chairs, tricycle, axillary Crutches, digital hearing aids, smart walking stick s and other related assistance appliances will provided to the deserving beneficiaries.
